I capped off half of them and went back with the rotary heads (not rotary impact). They never foul up and even usually survive a lawnmower "scuffing". You only have to adjust them once, and need half as many. The only reason rainbird recommends these things is to make money off replacements. That's all I can fathom. And not in a million years am I to believe misting water is more efficient than properly spreading larger drops of water. Any heat or wind evaporates or displaces that mist considerably. That's just marketing assuming the individual doesn't properly have their timers setup.
