6" Pop-up 8' - 15' Spray Distance Rain Bird Professional Pop-Up Sprinkler Expired

I don't know who needs to hear this but I'd avoid misters like the plague. I did my entire 10,000 ft2 yard in 8 zones of misters like rain bird recommended. The rainbird layout/design was fine. The problem is these misters are prone to issues. When you have 60 of the things in the ground there is always a few that don't rise properly due to a little sand getting in the riser. There's always some that don't fan properly bc 1 grit of sand can block 40 degrees worth of watering. You don't know until you have a dead spot. It's non-stop and you basically have to replace the whole thing when a problem pops up bc replacing pieces parts may or may not fix it.

I capped off half of them and went back with the rotary heads (not rotary impact). They never foul up and even usually survive a lawnmower "scuffing". You only have to adjust them once, and need half as many. The only reason rainbird recommends these things is to make money off replacements. That's all I can fathom. And not in a million years am I to believe misting water is more efficient than properly spreading larger drops of water. Any heat or wind evaporates or displaces that mist considerably. That's just marketing assuming the individual doesn't properly have their timers setup.
