The circular saw is the only tool I have from Ryobi that I am not actually a fan of. Blade tends to get stuck often in the middle of a cut. Frustrating. I tend to favor the plug in saws if I had a longer cut to make. For short cuts on 2x4 or something similar, Ryobi is fine.

I think it's really dependent on how much you use them. I've had Ryobi has my main line and do pretty much everything DYI. I've yet to be unhappy. That said, I've only seen pros use Milwaukee or Dewalt. I don't know how much beating Ryobi can take in comparison.

Interesting thing for me is that I no longer have the option to cancel the order at all when getting this deal. Very odd, wonder if HD is going to start cracking down on the hacks.

No they aren't. I haven't been able to cancel parts of the order or order half to home and half for pickup in years. Nothing has changed except it all costs twice as much as it did in 2019.

I couldn't cancel it at all. I know the canceling part of the order thing is iffy, but I at least had the option to cancel the whole order before...even that is gone. 🤷 ♀️

After about 2 years of waiting I finally grabbed the Ryobi brushless angle grinder for under $60 (hacked). This is the only tool that hardly ever goes on sale even on DTO. So once I return the batteries, I'll be golden!

I was able to get the 2 batteries+charger and use the hack to return the free tool. The 2 batteries+charger came out to $42.99 in the end.
Pretty good price!

Not only was cancel option not a thing, HD store marked my order as picked up when it wasn't. Had to chat to get it resolved and even then the guy kept telling me this was "a bundle" and unable to be partially refunded. Their training on this seems to be all over the place.

This would be a great deal if the items shown were actually available.

The image in the web ad shows 14 different tools but when I go to purchase only 11 of those are available and 3 are sold out.

would love the 2 batteries and Brushless Compact 1/4 in. Right Angle Die Grinder but that combo is not coming up. Got online with the chat but could not convince them to honor the deal even though the Die grinder is shown on the page.
