It almost certainly won't. 100W cables should be assumed to be USB2.0 until stated otherwise, for USB-C data connections you'd probably want something with at least the USB 3.1 spec though ideally thunderbolt 3 and above.

i literally have no need for another usb-c to usb-c cable. Bought it anyway cause, fuggit it's only $5 and it's LONG.

Note that this is USB 2.0 as most inexpensive charging cables are. This won't be an issue for the iPhone 15 because it only has a USB 2.0 chip in it. It will be an issue for the iPhone 15 Pro and most Android phones if you want to use it for fast data.

For everyone claiming that this is a USB 2.0 cable, at the bottom of the product page, in the Product information section, it lists a (presumably maximum) Data Transfer Rate of 5 Gigabits Per Second. If that's accurate, that would make this cable USB 3.1 GEN 1 or USB 3.2 GEN 1x1:
  • USB 2.0 supports up to 480 Mbps
  • USB 3.0 supports up to 4.8 Gbps
  • USB 3.1 GEN1 | USB 3.2 GEN1x1 supports up to 5 Gbps
  • USB 3.1 GEN2 | USB 3.2 GEN1x2 | USB 3.2 GEN 2x1 supports up to 10 Gbps
  • USB 3.2 GEN 2x2 supports up to 20 Gbps

Should be good for my Oneplus 11. I only need it this for fast charging, as the original cable is a little short where I use it. Data speed doesn't matter.

I thought it was insane that this phone didn't come with wireless charging, but I literally only need to charge it 20-30 minutes a day with the included fast super-mega-uberfast charger, so whatever.

Finally APPLE accepted their messed up wire is no good and moving to USB C!! For years they played the trick AGAINST the USB C but had no success!!!

Have not checked this deal (it's probably legit) but be wary of scam sellers on Amazon selling "20 Gbps/240w" cables that are actually usb 3.0 (under 5Gbps) cables. I just bought one from a company/seller called "Avatcen" for $10 but due to the seller being dishonest and describing it as 20Gbps/240w and "the fastest charging cable in history!" lol I'll be returning it though it is technically a fast charging cable (it only gets 450 MB/s using my external SSD USB-C drive that my other JacobsParts 5Gbps cable gets 1000MB/s with.

USB 3.x cables are more expensive to make because they have to handle the higher data rate and they use more wires internally. This usually makes them some combination of more expensive, thicker, and less flexible. If you are only looking to use a cable for charging, it makes sense to offer a cheaper alternative that only supports USB 2.0.
