Deal or no deal, can someone smarter than me let me know if I can run a portable AC with this?
Yes. Anything that you would run on a normal household 15amp plug, you can run on this. 1800W at 120V translates to 15 amps. 1KWh won't provide juice for long though

I'd argue you're better off getting the Home Depot deal for this delta 2 and the extra battery (no solar panels) and increase capacity 2x. You can find used solar panels cheap online

Assuming you had enough solar input, maybe, but your limiting factor will be start up draw. So I had the original delta pro, which I believe had as much or more start up power, but my 110v window ac would trip it every time the compressor kicked on even though it ran on a 110v standard outlet.

It will run just about anything your wall outlet will run, it just won't run it very long. Probably 2 hours depending on A/C size and how much the compressor runs. The two 110w solar panels, even if they gave you 100% output in perfect sun, which they won't, wouldn't be able to keep up with the watts needed to run a small A/C (usually 400-600 watt per hour).

You can soft start big ones, wonder if you can modify little ones too.
