i would say five out of seven days i check to see if there are new posts. a lot of the chat forums are dead to be honest. the only one i enjoy seeing dead is the podium, good riddance.

we haven't had a wayptw thread in a dog's day.

I haven't been playing shit lol. I watch some newer stuff on Twitch like Dead Island 2 & Payday 3 but I doubt I'll get them myself.

Kiddo has been playing bass and really turned an ear to metal so I have been catching up on the genre and going to shows in effort to further her passion in playing.

I did get a motorcycle before summer so I've been out riding that in the evening and on weekends as time allows.

why would you buy a motorcycle? they released road rash on multiple consoles, literally every console has a release. and you can emulate your flavor of it it so easily. i can't see why you'd opt to ride vs run one of the greatest motorcycle simulators of all time.

LOL cuz they're fun as hell to ride. Its not a crotch rocket but rather an adventure bike that has limited off road capability but plenty of fun on the street.

I did see a clip of a guy in a full racing sim in him home, it looked pretty intense.

Just saw that about the div 3 and came here to post about it. We'll probably be waiting a while though.

As for games, I haven't played jack shit in a long time. I had worked my way through most of the TLOU remake whlie the show was airing, but haven't gotten around to picking it back up. Also about 2 hrs into God of War Ragnarok, but that's more of my go-to game when I pop a gummy, but I only get about 30 min in before I get sleepy and call it a night. Maybe I'll buy Dead Island 2 to see if that's any good.

Yeah, likely sometime in 2025 I would think. That gives me plenty of time to upgrade to a new PC which I know I'll have to do since I'm pushing a Ryzen 5 & 2060.

Sounds like they are releasing a F2P first; Division Heartlands. The article I read made it sound like they were just starting to put together a team to work on 3.

Still gaming, playing Baldur's Gate 3 with my partner, going through Bard's Tale IV again myself, Etrian Odyssey 5 on my 3DS. We just started playing Lost Castle with the toddler, it's going a little better than Streets of Rage 4 did overall.

Not a lot of women in metal, especially on bass, but there's Nervosa (from Brazil). Nova Twins aren't metal, but a duo of women doing interesting stuff (definitely won't appeal to everyone though)
I've been going to jams, started doing open mics, getting ready to put together some people to play a punk show (not a "band" per se, just whoever is available at the time for when the gig is)

I'm about the same way. I check for new messages in here or Tech Support, then go on about my day. Little to no chatter going on with the advent of social media and/or Discord.

Then again, after 25 years of existence, the ones in their late teens are in their mid 40s, the one sin their 30s are 60+ or close to it, and the ones in the 40s are mid 60s and the 50s+ crowd are now retired in their 70s.

These board sites are designed to be re-infused by a younger crowd to take up the chatty reigns and it never really occurred after social media started. So I guess the dead boards were bound to happen.

Still alive and kicking out here! Still playing even though I just turned 55! Mostly playing MWII MP and some DMZ, and then Destiny 2 still right now. Play Destiny2 mostly with ChoclateThundr still. And very occasionally I'll jump into some Apex Legends.

I'm sure I'll get the new MWIII when it comes out. They are bringing back all the old retro maps remastered, plus it's the first MW game with a zombie mode and I have always liked the zombie mode. Hope everyone is doing well.
