Quote from JeffJ9000 :
Kindly link the data and studies that show at home tests are 99% accurate.
He said positive results are accurate for at home tests.

Edit for clarity: The risk is false negative, which is why the FDA recommends repeat testing.

These are pretty useless. I know of multiple people who ended up with Covid and for all of them the kit showed negative. Only a PCR test confirmed the infection.
Some people test too soon. The PCR test is more sensitive so it will usually pick it up first.

I had some that were around the extension period, more than one actually just didn't show any lines at all.
That's why they have the control line. If you don't see it the test will not work...

Can't we find a way to do a test without shoving a dry harsh cotton swab up the nose...can't I just spit on it?? Lol I'm no doctor. But come on!!

"However, at-home COVID-19 antigen tests are generally expected to detect the SARS-CoV-2 virus at least 80% of the time when someone is infected." It also says, to keep testing if negative, cause they want you to get that false positive and help bump up their fake numbers lol
I'm going to try to explain it like you're 5.

Positive results mean you have it. Negative results do not necessarily mean you don't have it, and you should test again in a few days if you have reason to suspect you have it. A single at home test will detect the virus 80% of the time _if somebody is infected_.

Not everybody is out to get you.
