I received one of these to review as a Walmart reviewer. First off, it was one of the most miserable assemblies I've had to do as an adult. It's a "ton" of screws, bolts, lock nuts, and particleboard. It took my wife and I about four hours. Four unpleasant hours (not her fault, thank god she helped me). At one point we became frustrated with the instructions and considered putting it out at the curb partially assembled. Several screws stripped and there are some awkward reaches. Make sure you have your cordless drill, a new Phillips bit, and a hex bit to "speed" things up. It's not going to go fast, though. It was just a royal PITA. As a TV stand it would function, and the electric fireplace while interesting is not classy in my opinion (how could it be?). The "marble" finish and LED lighting are gauche. The heater itself is quiet and seems to work well. If you're seriously considering it, you probably already know what it's like. Wherever you assemble it, it should be close to where you plan to use it because I don't think it will withstand a lot of moving. Another negative, two remotes. You have separate remotes for the lights and heater. I see these in man caves, not living rooms, and I'm not sure it's worth $220. If you don't like assembling particleboard, I would avoid this one.
