No one cares enough to convince you. Do what you want.
Somebody SAAAAAAVE me!
Well two reasons I can think of. One, who knows how long it will be on Hulu, and also, who knows how long you want to be subscribed to Hulu.
Two, you can download the entire series on any device like your PC and can just watch it anytime or anywhere which is pretty convenient and it is yours forever.

Surprised this deal is still on. Should die soon though
I know. Has to be a price mistake unless another Smallville cast member did something crazy. Everyone forgets Sam Jones (aka "Pete") did time for dealing drugs. Don't think I'm a weirdo, but I'm sure I still have his sex tape on one of my hard drives.
So glad I was able to pick up the series a good 15 hours after the deal was posted. These deals usually don't last long. It was probably supposed to be $14.99 per season which is still a sale price. Don't know why they haven't caught it yet. Thanks again for this great find. It makes up for me missing the 24-movie Bond deal for $9.99 about 5 years ago on Vudu. Yeah, I still remember!
Got this as a $15 penalty for not redeeming the digital code on time when I got the Blu-ray set. Many of you don't know Warner Bros hard expire all digital code.
Yes true. Eventually all digital services will end. But there is nothing stopping you from downloading your content. Storage is getting cheaper and cheaper and in let's say 10 years they close shop, downloading an entire library of digital movies and tv shows would be very cheap. It's not terribly expensive right now.
Physical media has its appeal don't get me wrong, but people always seem to leave out that physical can come with its own issues. I couldn't tell you how many blu rays I have lost over the years for variosu reasons be it moving, loaning them to people, dog chewing on them, or just running out of storage space.
What it comes down to in the end is just personal preference, but I feel the fearmongering about how "if you buy digital someday it will be gone forever" is a bit misguided.
Sure it will work until they decide to disable the server, then the drm won't allow you to watch it. We saw this happen with old games all the time.
I don't know who owns the rights to smallville but i know it's not apple.
My point is you aren't buying this, you're just renting it for an extended period of time.
