Here's the one really bad thing about this phone... When an OS or security update is pushed to it, I loose my cell network connection! I bought this phone for my mother too, and it happens on both of our phones at the same time. It's happened about 4 times in the last year. It's only after major OS/security updates, not normal app updates. A reboot doesn't fix it. You have to go into settings, network, mobilenetwork, accesspointnames and re-select the APN listed there... mine is VZWINTERNET. It's some goofy bug that should not exist, but at least there's a quick fix for it.
Anyway, even with that problem... $60 for a nice phone and a year of service and some extra talk/data/text is a great deal.

Based on the QVC-listed specs, this is the 2021 model
https://www.gsmarena.co
But still... not bad specs on the phone, and it's 5G.
Both the 2022 ad 2023 models have different specs, either for the screen size, display pixel density, for camera resolution. The QVC model - since this is a CARRIER version, it only has 4GB RAM / 128 GB storage, but still... 4 GB... 4 GB... 4 GB...
My interest is "will it work for any SIM I want to stick in it?"
4G bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 29, 30, 38, 39, 40, 41, 48, 66, 71
5G bands 2, 5, 25, 26, 41, 66, 71, 77, 78 SA/NSA
And am I Nerd enough to buy it for a "device" and sit on it for up to a year until I can pop an existing Verizon or Mint SIM in it? (Thinking...)
I need to check some more... I have many older phones (now just "devices"), and none are solid on ALL networks... but is it worth it buying a "device" that may not be fully unlocked for up to a year (and even then... that's the problem with the other phones. They're "almost" unlocked.)
Whoop! Just saw a reference to TracFone unlock policy... "all phones unlock on the *61st day*"... that warms the cockles of my flinty heart. https://www.tfwunlockpo
Some details in the Howard Forums post https://howardforums.co
where they talk about TF Rewards points, and some finer details of making sure you qualify for this or that. And the (in)famous "Gmail Dot Trick".
Swappa marketplace shows verified used Moto G Stylus 5G, 2021 model, going for about $100
Shucks... it looks like the SD-link has expired... was it a bad offer ("What? We didn't mean THAT!") or did I miss it?
But... the original QVC page referenced appears to be OK.
Wow... so tempting.
Mint "indicates" that this will work on their network, but, they spec a diff't model... so, still just thinking..

Still.... for 60 bucks...
PLUS... there is some QVC "new customer" thank that promises a $20 discount... AND, the TracFone unlock policy is "on the 61st day". Just sayin'.
*edit- obligatory you will need to wait 6mo to unlock a Metro Mobile phone, if anyone reading did not know

Hey, can you find that deal? I'm not seeing it, and the only thing I find is the 4 GB / 128 GB offers.

more like "carrier scam customer with lower spec phone"
I ordered one last month and edited the shipping speed said it was free for faster shipping and it removed the coupon.
more like "carrier scam customer with lower spec phone"
Carrier: "Hey! Here's a great phone at a budget price just to get you into our carrier!"
User: "Zoink! Bye!"
Carrier: "Drat! and DOUBLE-DRAT! How can we get attractive 'name brand' phones" to get customers into our program, without spending the Big Bucks and having users just grab the phone and leave?!"
You can HAVE a higher soec phone.
Only, you'll wind up paying for (more of) it, yourself. Or, paying for the same thing over time, through "monthly service credits".
So, the choice is up to us.
Get yourself a really nice, high-end phone - on your own dime, and join a BYOD program.
Or, get whatever phone they're going to offer you to get you in the door - at their advantage.
QVCNEW20
So, not the $32 that some people have gotten, but maybe $40+
BUT...
1. I want to make sure that this is the full price for the phone and "1 year of service" - which is implied,
2. Be sure to look at the current product page.
a) The price on the QVC page
https://www.qvc.com/Tracfone-Moto-G-Stylus-5G-Smartphone-with-1500-TalkTextData.product.E315229.html [qvc.com]
indicates the QVC price of the phone was originally $73. Even on a TWO YEAR OLD PHONE "$400" phone, that's very low. And,
b), look at the reviews associated with the deal. 52 reviews. 2.5 * rating. only 31% of reviewers would recommend the deal - and, of the 52 reviews, almost 1/2 are 1 star.
( 23 are 1*, 11 are 5*, 8 are 2*, 6 are 3*, and 4 are 4*). Lots of people mention problems connecting to the internet through the carrier.
As much as i like gadgets and devices, I really want a good replacement phone, and this may not be it.

It doesn't work because they deliberately made it 2 cents shy from $60 required to use NEWQVC30. You need to buy a filler for this code, which I've chosen silicone kitchen mitt that I can use (after shipping it's around $10) so basically I got the extra mitt for free. Of course you can use the $1 donation as others suggested.
