I am also porting 4 TMO lines but 3 of my phones are supposed to arrive by next week and the 4th phone will not arrive till mid November. So I either wait till November to port all 4 or port first 3 next week and then port 4th one in November. I don't want to loose my TMO numbers, I care less about new VZW numbers but if I power on the phones I think it will come up on new numbers, that means Sims must be inside the phones when they shipped. Rep told me just to use new numbers till I am ready to port all 4 or port 3 first and 4th in the end.

Can anyone help me here? I'm trying to do trade in through online after the phone activation. The phone was ordered through Costco rep. I'm always getting an error as please provide valid address on submitting imei. I tried to contact Verizon support and they are also getting same error even though in the system it confirmed that I am eligible for trade in promotions. Any help here how to process trade in

I did this deal on the third, but they told me there was no deal on the regular iPhone. I had to get the iPhone Pro, which was $170 more after the $830 trade-in. Still less with the $250 gift cards, but it would have been better to get the phones I wanted, and could have gotten at a Verizon store.

For people who bought the phone at Costco and got it shipped to their home address in a different state, can anyone chime in if the state tax applies to the location of the shipped address or that of the store?

Some of these Costco VZW reps have no Clue what they talking about. Must be 1st week on job.
I did 2 iphone 15 and samsung s23 ultra on Oct 2 with full available credit inside Costco.

Question for existing VZW subscribers, does VZW allowed to downgrade a plan on a particular line without any penalty. With tradein the credit is tied to which plan one chose like ultimate or plus or welcome. Hard to imagine vzw will let you go from ultimate to plus or welcome after new phones are activated.

You sure? I was under the impression it was any change from eligible to ineligible plans would do that. But if you are still on an eligible plan you'll get the credits.

For example, i'm on 5g Play More but I may change to Unlimited Plus. I should be able to do that and still get the credits.

Ah you're right. I assumed you were asking about the change in plans to a lower tier.

In general, when you're about to change plans, Verizon will notify you about the loss of credits if applicable. However, it's always best to check with customer support on chat, and screenshot their answer, in case things go awry. Verizon website/technical errors are not something you can trust on.

I checked with Costco Verizon rep, they stated the trade in needs to be iphone 12 or later. To get $1000 trade in, it needs to be Unlimited Ultimate plan. $830 for Unlimited Plus. When I talked directly to Verizon rep (not Costco rep), you can trade in any phone model, you get $1000 even on Unlimited Plus. Difference reps giving difference answers.

I was told yesterday that the promotion via Costco is until 10/14 but nothing in writing. I am asking if a total wireless customer which is now owned by Verizon counts as a new customer/line or not? Anyone know that answer or where to find it, Tried chat last night they had no clue.
