Yes, I am trading in 4 iphones. He put in the imei of all 4 and I even get email from vzw about those 4 tradein phones need to be shipped once I receive my new iPhone.
They never ask me for any tax on the new phones.

I'm confused! Can someone that has done this deal explain the process? I'm also trading 4 phones, he said I can ship the phones in but never ask about imei, I only received email from Verizon regarding my new phones order but nothing about shipping the trade in phones. I'm suspecting he forgot about the trade in.

So did he gave you a physical receipt for your order or a receipt in email.? That receipt shows the tradein info about your phones you tradein. I also heard the rep saying that I can input that info later online but to be on safe side I give him the info and he put in all the info, like imei, model,color,capacity. Etc...
I think you can just call vzw and cancel your order and place a new order at Costco, give them imei info and your receipt should show the $250 Costco GC plus $200 vzw credit for porting.

So same IMEI were accepted with no issues?
Did you get a receipt showing both $250 credit from Costco and vzw $200 credit for switching from TMO per line ? plus an email about tradein phones.

He did gave me a physical receipt and an email receipt. On the physical receipt it shows monthly payment for each new phone (original price)and $250 Costco shop card, nothing about porting credit or trade in phones or trade in credits.

I think you can easily cancel this order and order again with tradein info provided.
I am going back tomorrow, cancel my existing order and placing a new order. This time I will do 3 iphone tradein and 1 BYOD. That should give me
$1000 (GC)+$800(VZW Portin credit)+$540 (BYOD credit). Also I will downgrade to Unlimited Plus from Ultimate.

Next question is what if one of the new phone is BYOD, does that gets the Switcher rebate too ? Or one has to get a phone with minimum $699 value as mentioned in the rebate.
I really don't understand why vzw has the minimum $699 requirement for switcher rebate.
One can get iphone 14 or s22 free without any tradein. No one going to buy $699 phone upfront

There is no comment at all about a trade-in. That has been mentioned throughout this thread mostly b/c it is part of the promo if you wanted a iPhone 15. For those of us who got the iPhone 14 series for free over 36 months, there was no trade required, so it appears we are also eligible.
Good point- looks like tradein is not required for the switcher rebate. It will be good to know if one BYOD does that gets the switcher rebate too on top of $540 for BYOD credit.

You can easily get a cheap $20 trade in phone off eBay or Facebook.

For the $540 BYOD credit, you are not getting it in a lump sum. It is also $15 credit each month for 36 months.

Yes and I also find out it's not $540 but $360 for my Note10 + 5G . I just might do a trade in with an iphone5 I picked up for $30 at Ebay and get a free phone like Samsung s22 or iPhone 14 pro and that can be sell in open mkt as locked to vzw. Vzw normally unlock them after 60 days. I really like my Note10 + and it's in Mint condition so why give it up, I think they going out for $200 .
