I don't know why people are calling this as a ""deal""

You are paying Verizon to screw you while disguising to give you free phone (unless you to do this dance every year and get previous Carrier to pay for outstanding charges).

Wait 1 or 2 years and jump the ship to TMO they will buyout the remaining contract and you will have iphone 15 free for yourself

$200+ for 2 lines sounds a lot. I did 4 lines all 4 on Plus plans and think my damage is $220 Plus Tax. (45x4=$180). 2 phones are iphone 15 with 256GB, 1 is iphone 15 pro max 512GB and 1 is S23 ultra.
$1000 GC Plus $800 Switcher credit. $1800. I am sure TMO or ATT will have something in 2 years to jump the ship.

beyond cluster at my costco today. friend has old iphone 6s. they made us upgrade the plan first then the phone wasn't eligible then he had to spend another 45min to put the original plan back on.

Verizon is cancelling orders after hours where you can't call customer service, claiming they can't charge your credit card for the taxes and fees, this is all bait and switch nonsense! Just got a message from my credit card company payment was declined, even though I have plenty of credit to pay $55.00. Absolute joke!

Link inside Verizon account won't take you to the page to pay, text message system via automated phone, website doesn't work either.

only newbies like this deal. Nobody want to stuck for 36 months and pay for outrageous fees. The only reason those three companies can monopolize and keep offering the same crap 36 months is because most people think this is a deal and keep buying it. A fish can only see its food, but it cannot see the fish hook.

Feel free to compare to the best deal you got.

Until recently, the major carrier deals were all 36 months in this cycle. I now see T-Mobile 24-month deals, but too late guys. 3 years will be a problem, especially if they stop giving guaranteed trade-in values. The old strategy was to switch carriers at the end of bill credits, but that may need to change. I might go to an MVNO next time, since phone features have plateaued and I am not service sensitive, but my family is. Of course, the worst option is to stay on a major carrier with no discounts.

So here was my process for anyone wondering. I upgraded two lines for iPhone 15. Received both in 2 days. I then traded in my devices at the CORPORATE Verizon store. That's it, nothing else. Never provided IMEI to Costco rep. Just paid taxes, fees and received my phones. Credit already showing up.

You'd have to change the address in your verizon account first, before the phone ship. Then you change it back. At least that was what I was told.
