I have no problem with these way of upgrading my phones. I upgrade every four years and have stayed with the same provider for 15 years and don't plan to change so for me it's unnoticeable getting the monthly credits or how some people had call it a "contract".

I only become aware of it when after it's paid off and I start getting notifications that my phone is paid off and can upgrade if I want.

If I was gonna pay the full cost of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and then sell my now four year old iPhone 11 Pro Max, it would be a worse deal. I would only get around $300-$350 for the iPhone 11 and that's less than $830 spread over 36 months credits.

It's already been covered, you don't have to move to the new unlimited plans to qualify for the trade-in...at least it didn't when this thread was originally created. Supposedly there is a new deal? Not sure but I can tell you that I'm on the 5g Play More, or 5g Do More, can't remember, and it qualified. 2 lines upgraded.

Moving 4 lines from tmobile to Verizon. Went to Costco yesterday and ordered pro 15 on the unlimited plus plan for all lines. Rep entered IMEI of older phones. Phones are supposed to be shipped Oct 20. Receipt shows $250 per line Costco gift card and $830 credit. Don't see $200 per line vzw credit though.

Got new numbers assigned and Rep said to call and port in once the phones arrive. Then I'll be eligible for $200 per line credit. Does this sound about right or should I go back, cancel the order and restart the process?

Perfect, that's all I needed to know. Did you add a new line or just took the $250 for upgrading? I didn't see it in earlier comments, if you can confirm then I will add it to the wiki. Otherwise I was contemplating on Apple since apparently it supports the $830 off (36 months sighhh), but with an old phone like a Note 9, with the same 5G Do More/Play More plans.

Try going to a different Costco if your Verizon kiosk is unable to do it.

There was a link for Vz on Costco site before but It was taken down. If you don't see the warehouse on the ATT and TMo pages, then it has Verizon kiosk.

Existing line. No new lines. I don't play those games.

I upgraded 2 lines with trade-in devices. Got the $830 trade-in credit and will get the $100 gift card for each line. The $250 gift card is for only new line's on new unlimited plans from what I recall.

Drove an hour to a Costco with a Verizon kiosk. After getting home, noticed for one of the trade in the staff input the wrong phone. They put in iPhone 8 Plus instead of iPhone 7 Plus. (I printed everything on paper for them to input).

Should I just send it in anyway or do I need to call Verizon to fix the issue?
