I can confirm this to be true, but you have the option of suspending service if you're not ready to start using it.
So I can activate with new lines today and then port my T-mobile numbers at a different point in time?

You're better off asking Verizon instead of an internet deal forum.

I don't know how that would affect the bonus incentives if you did, as I'd imagine everyone would do this to take advantage of the higher new-line incentives (e.g. $1000 vs $830 trade-in, $250 vs $100 Costco gift card) and then just port over later. Maybe someone else can answer what actually happens?

Just so that I am understanding the deal - I give them a phone for trade-in upfront and they give me marked up credits for that phone over next 3 years while I also pay their marked up monthly plan? Unlimited ultimate plan is ~$100/month - that would be $3600 for 3 years. Freaking $3.6 K. Buy the phone upfront $800 - get Mint mobile for $30/month -> 3years $1100 -> total $2K

$1.6K savings - allow you to buy almost 2 more iPhones with the savings and you get to sell your trade-in phone for some cool $300 to $400 on top Smilie
Don't worry. Majority of these are all shill posts. Gone are the days where people used to have good math done for deal and post that in the wiki. I was surprised that no one even talked about the monthly plan cost in the first few pages of this deal. PAGES !!

Yeah this is not a good deal for someone to get one phone/one line only.

It's an OK deal if you want to do it for 4 lines.

This deal makes sense if you can be resourceful and trade in an older phone and if you're someone who upgrades every year anyways. ($25 eBay iPhone 4 works). A plan for 5 people is about $60/line after taxes and fees, so $2160. I sold my iPhone 14 Pro that I had prior for $700 after fees on swappa. That along with $450 in gift cards ($250 Costco, $200 VZ ) puts me at a net cost of $1010 for the plan alone over 36 months if I utilize the gift cards. This is about $30/month. But again, I did also gain an iPhone 15 Pro, currently valued at $1000, along with a decent data pritorized phone plan.

The equivalent of buying an iPhone 15 outright and paying for mint mobiles unlimited plan at $30/month, makes the total cost to be a little over $2000 over 36 months. This is what makes this a slick deal. But anyone, def correct me if I'm wrong about some details.

It's amazing how difficult they make this. Was at Costco and they had the 250, but didn't tell me about the extra 200(?). I didn't want the more expensive plan, WA has high cell taxes. So for 4, it would be 210*36(includes fees and tax)-800(Verizon)-1000(Costco)+4*35(activation)+.095*4*830 =6200
I bought at Verizon, unlimited welcome, 4 iPhone 14 plus. So 36*145(includes fees and tax)-800(Verizon)-.09*3200-140=4848, plus I can sell the current phones for a few hundred.

So ~45/month for better service and maybe better phone. Costco didn't offer the unlimited welcome plan deal. Would've considered it if idiot employee knew anything. Nearly impossible to negotiate this crap, and the reps will tell you anything. Wonder how long I can wait and go to T-Mobile. Never Att again. I suppose the best deal is to get the rebates and get out as soon as possible.

Have to comment. Chatted with another rep who said the rebate didn't apply. It's 2 out of 5 now. Chatted with another rep, said please don't worry. The customer service is abysmal. Now I have to call and abuse someone on the phone. Never order anything through a rep, they don't care what they tell you, it's not lying exactly, they just want to get you to buy or get rid of you. Should've just purchased refurb phones and went with mint or something like that.

You need plus or ultimate to get the $200 rebate. It says in the t&c.

Yes, I see that now, but the rep specifically said it would be added, I confirmed repeatedly. I would t have bought otherwise. I intend to hound them relentlessly. It's a verbal contract.
