As somebody who also has been on Verizon for 3+ years and has multiple Iphone 12's (my family members don't require a new phone every 6-12 months), I actually don't mind this deal. My only concern is that I'll lose my previous generation of unlimited plans (Do More, Play More).

I believe Tmobile had the iPhone 13 series where they gave you the credit at time of purchase. I did a few of those.
But this time, with verizon, it's definitely a 3 year 'contract'
On my family Tmobile account I'm on simple choice. I'm maxed out at 10 lines so I couldn't take advantage of the 13 deal
I did the Costco moto deal. 'Free' moto phone over 24 months. I did 4 upgrades. Costco gave $75 per line in Costco card but there were some issues and many of us got $75 in account credits. Tmobile gave me $300 in account credit.
Hopefully Tmobile has some deals for us simple plan users just upgrading, no new lines.
Oh yea, on my personal account, I canceled a 5 line account and ported 4 to verizon with the $1k deal
I have an uncle who also switched. That's 6 lines in one shot. I hope Tmobile is seeing customers leave and start to offer better plans.

1. Do the trade-in iphones have to be for Verizon (mine were used with ATT and T-Mobile. The Verizon promo says any iphone)
2. When signing up are you providing the IMEI numbers for trade-in phones and are they being checked? Any one else had issues with the IMEI check?
3. Have there been situations where IMEI number was not provided at sign up and the trade-ins (with clean non blacklisted phones) went through fine regardless of the IMEI check at the kiosk? Wondering if I should take a risk since I know the phones are clean.

I remember in the past deals I did at Costco, it was Tmobile transactions. The reps would input the imei info for me.
With Verizon, I noticed it's different. I went to Best Buy to buy my 15 pro max phones. I had to do the trade ins myself. I went to a corp verizon store and the rep did it there.
Use sickw dot com to check the status. They should be good but for some reason you are getting errors.
