p.s. The deal provided by costco is listed, the deals provided by T-Mobile are not.
2.) is this a slickdeal only if you cancel after 4/5 months? (so basically get $400 in giftcards plus AAA membership for 1 year in exchange for paying $75 per month)
3.)do these new plans qualify for employer discounts?
Monthly is $140 all in. Forever.
To "upgrade" to Go5G is $80 more per month. Paying $960 more per year just for the changed plan, in order to get a phone at a one-time discount is unbelievably foolish.

From my admittedly brief review, it seems that the $105*/month upgrade-every-year plan with T-Mobile would cost me more money than just staying on Visible, selling my current iPhone and buying a new one.
- Sell iPhone 13 Pro on Swappa: $650
- Buy new iPhone 15 Pro: $1050 with tax
Visible: 45*12 + $400 = $940 for the year
T-Mobile: $105*12 + 1/2 of $1050** - $400 promo: $1385
Are my calculations right here?
Thanks much in advance for your insights!
* Plan is $100 with autopay, but I wanna put the charge on my credit card to get free cell phone protection
** My understanding is that one has to make phone payments for about 6 months before one can trade in for a new phone, right?
People need to factor in long term not just one year.
it will definitely increase regardless, but some may see it justifiable depending on their current plan/promos. I hate Tmobile but I cant get rid of them lol.
Basic Go5g Military is $120 IF using recommended autopay payment method....
Summary 4 lines: Basic Go5g Military is $20 more per month compared to Basic Magenta Military if autopay using same payment method.
Pros:
1. Trade-in offer is higher in Go5G (1000 vs 650)
Cons:
1. Higher plan cost per monthly, roughly $30 more for 6 lines compared to MAX
2. Only eligible for upgrade every 2 years (Max allows upgrade when we pay off the balance)
3. For the $350 more trade-in value, you will pay $720 in 24 months for the plan cost (Worth it only when you trade in at least couple of phones to get the $1000)

Admittedly it was late at night and i wrote i have magenta max a few lines down from where I wrote about the 3 lines for 2 promo etc.
So yeah I have magenta max - 3 lines for 2 promo, with friends and family code applied, auto pay and the line credit adjustment. netflix, apple tv all that thrown in 96 a month for 3 lines.
Appreciate the link for the reddit threads - the 2nd one seems closer to my situation.
