Thanks for posting the link. I haven't used Brickseek in a while, but I don't remember having to have an account to search local stock. That's news to me.

There is no reason to use Brickseek for Target. It has not showed in store clearance price for years. Now that you need to log in to brickseek, you will literally be signing in to see the same thing the Target website is showing.

Save your time. Hasn't worked for Target in awhile and Walmart hasn't worked recently either.

Thanks for letting me know. I clicked search twice thinking I hit sign up or something. I closed the page immediately. No thanks.

Click "Pick up" on the Target site and you can see inventory for all the locations with stock around you. If you can't order for pickup despite showing in stock then it's most likely on clearance. It could be 30,50, or 70% though most likely these are at least 50% at most locations by now.

Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it. I'll see if my local store has any.

The Philips projector is nothing special, but is arguably superior to many knock-off brand mini projector alternatives at this price. True 1080p and rated for 250 lumens.

Good luck!

How does this compare to the Panasonic 820 that everyone loves so much?

YMMV, but I had tried and returned several x700s since they all kept freezing halfway through certain discs (these same discs worked fine on my Xbox). This is apparently a somewhat common issue with the x700 model.

Even if you don't have the freezing problem, the image quality seemed a lot better on the UB820. Also helps that you can bypass some region locked blu-rays with it.

Agree on quality and it happens on the 800 series also. You also have to manually turn on/off DV with Sony.

Another thing I would mention especially now that Samsung is getting popular.
The Panasonic 420 for most people has the same performance as the 820 minus DV and cost much less.

This is a great deal for new. I have the same unit which I purchased as a refurb at about the same price.

Yes, it has a rep for freezing on some discs, but I have not had this problem.

FYI, it does do Dolby Vision. But it's clunky in that you have to enable it in the main menu. And then it will play everything in DV, until you go back in the same menu to disable it. So not user-friendly, but a heck of a lot cheaper than the next DV-capable 4K player!

I own this and have been very satisfied with it. IT IS REGION-FREE. I can't stress that enough. Enables me to watch films that otherwise I wouldn't be able to.
