This one is suppose to have or will have a Dolby Vision update. I do not have this but was just curious so I looked into it.

If they are talking about the Panasonic 820, it has much better picture quality from my experience.

I had and returned three of this Sony model since they all kept freezing halfway through certain 4K discs (I think it was some hardware issue with layer transitions on longer 4K movies). When I first encountered this problem, it seemed like other people were reporting the same issue, but YMMV if it's just a problem with certain discs. All I know is that the discs that froze, froze on all three 700s I tried, and also gave me zero problems on a XBox One X or the Panasonic 820 I got after giving up on Sony.

Also, I think they fixed it, but when I had the Sony, you had to manually turn Dolby Vision on and off, so it was really inconvenient to switch between media if they didn't all support Dolby Vision.
