I did this deal using my Windows 11 laptop using Chrome and going to samsung.com directly.

I then login to my EPP account and then logged into my samsung account.

I then added the S23 Ultra 256GB to cart and chose the S22 Ultra as trade

I then clicked Continue (not checking the Tablet bundle).

At the Checkout screen, I then go back and add the Tab S9 Ultra and add the Tab S8 as trade.

I then proceed to checkout and all discounts stick making the Tab S9 Ultra $0.00.

Many thanks for replicating. I'm sure I'm going to get a bunch of thumbs down since this deal may not last long, or it's an EPP/EDU deal, or requires trade-in

This seems like a really good deal for folks who only have a Tab S8 or S8+ and wanted a Tab S9 Ultra.

For me, I've been happy with my S22Ultra 256GB but I'm hoping the S23Ultra has a better battery life.

What makes this great deal is the combination of phone upgrade and tablet bump. $250 for both is an insane deal. Phones are no longer showing drastic improvements but the otger way to look at this... you can now use that new S23 Ultra as a trade-in upgrade for the next phone... more likely, the S25 Ultra. 2 years from now, the S22 Ultra will be worth way less than this one.

I find 8GB close background apps more frequently, if you often need to swap between gaming and camera apps in daily use.

Trade s22 u 128gb for s22 u 256gb, s8u for s9u 512gb.
249$ + 143$ tax - 5$rewatds

Total 388$

128gb s22u storage was filled up

8GB if you're buying from the US Samsung website. They don't offer a S23U 256GB (12GB RAM) variant.

It's not required, source: traded in my own s8 ultra for the 9 ultra last month. Didn't send s pen. Twice in a row because I didn't do it for my s7 either

Turned in S22+, and Tab 6 lite. Got 23 Ultra, Tab Ultra, and 2 pairs of Buds Pro 2 for $775 after taxes. Was really contemplating Apple but it's hard to go that direction when I got all this for the cost of an iPhone.

Traded-in multiple tablets with samsung and never sent the S-pen. Absolutley no issue. Save the pen ...just in case if you need it in future

Someone else already replied to you, but do not listen to the chat rep.

Their trade in policy clearly states spen is required for phones.

You can keep the spen when trading in a Tab but not a phone.
