Nice having a spare wired mouse when your bluetooth connection craps out. In 4 1

reviews on amazon indicate some quality control issues, but the price seems right to take a gamble, especially considering the left button on my current mouse (different model, came with pc) just gave out

i read most is needed for gaming is 3600. I think my m325 is less than that. i have nothing better. don't need speed but precision on a regular hard wood desk surface. hard to go back to wired.

Thanks for posting this OP Smilie

At the price you really can't argue.. $10 shipped? That's a good deal in my humble opinion Smilie

However if you're planning on gifting the mouse to someone as opposed to having say a cheap backup mouse it might be worth checking out the amazon reviews ... one reviewer stated he loves the mice but they just keep breaking and he gave up after buying one a third time in a row..

.... on the other hand another reviewer stated his mouse is still going strong five years later and a second reviewer said his mouse is still working 7 years later (he liked the mouse so much he bought the same exact model after the first one started to malfunction after 7 years of use) .. I noticed even with the negative reviews some of them were basically saying they loved the mouse and regretted the fact that it stopped working...

.... so hit or miss on quality control but then again you can say that about pretty much anything PC related (or even not PC related ) you buy nowadays Stick Out Tongue .. I would argue for $10 worth the gamble Smilie

Also some differing opinions on how well it works for people with large hands (obviously if you have small hands not as much of a problem)

I owned the older version of this mouse, the M6900, and used it for 10+ years. The M6900 appears to be the same shape and size, and if that's any indicator, then this mouse is probably decent.

The M6900 held up to heavy gaming use, everything from battlefield to rainbow six siege to Diablo 3. The left button eventually started acting up after 10+ years. With that said, I wanted to point out that the size of the M6900 was a bit larger than expected. This mouse will probably be comfortable if you have medium or large sized hands.

Just thought of something else... okay now don't laugh I know at about $10.69 including tax the very thought of trying to get Gigabyte to honor the warranty on this is a joke Smilie ... probably not worth talking to a rep on the phone and the hassle of mailing it back even if they supply a prepaid return label.. having said that the two year warranty would be of interest to me given the extended warranty benefit on my credit card which is something a lot of people have on their cards but don't take advantage of , in my opinion anyways

Given it would be a $10.69 claim I'm confident that the credit card company wouldn't even bother to debate you on it and just refund the $10.69 back to your credit card if the mouse went bad after two years (often they extend the warranty by an additional year if you purchased it using their credit card).. heck if it fails within two years just tell the credit card company that the cost of mailing the defective item back is about the same as the item itself (obviously if gigabyte supplies a prepaid mailing label this won't help you much Smilie ) and they'll probably just refund you the $10.69 anyways.

Here's the link to the software for the mouse that I found online.. a bit concerned that they don't appear to have updated the software since the year 2014 Stick Out Tongue .. on the other hand I've had ancient software like that work just fine on my Windows 10 PC ... heck my daughter is using an ancient xbox one wired for PC controller from the days of Windows 8, works just fine on Windows 11 on her desktop Smilie

Just got it, echo what previous people said, feel weird as my hand needs to stay at an angle instead of flat with other mice. A little big imo
