Yes, but its called by the extremely unintuitive name of "Backup Reserve". tl;dr, you set a backup reserve level (say... 30%), and the battery will attempt to maintain that level. If the battery is higher than that level, then it will discharge the battery. If its lower, it will charge the battery from ALL sources (solar, DC, AC). If its at the level, then it will just try and balance power in with power out (again, from all sources). Its a really good system, but I would call it an 80% solution for what I need. I am currently using the Backup Reserve system and controlling the level through Home Assistant to use a Delta Pro + Extra battery as basically a peak shifter, allowing me to charge from the grid at night and dump the energy across the day, with the focus being during peak times. It would be really awesome if the scheduling could be handled by the Ecoflow app, but right now scheduling is a beta feature for the Delta 2 and its honestly not even half baked ( I started with a delta 2 for the same peak shifting task).

I feel like if you are going to use the tax credit on this and planning to hook it up to your home panel, you should spend a little more and find a deal on 2 delta pros instead of delta pro plus extra battery. Having 2 units will let you do 240v as opposed to 120v with 1 unit and extra battery.

Few bucks cheaper if you add the free Grounding Adapter [amazon.com] as well, $3,624.20.

lowest price i've seen, and yes it will connect to a power inlet at home if you have one or get one installed. lots of youtube videos on how to. $.53 per watt hour for this is very good, imo.

Yeah, a lot of people do it using a manual transfer switch.

Is the tax credit on the original price or paid price? And is it before or after local sales tax?

Hopking up to home panel is a verified requirement for the tax credit? I thought anything solar connected over 3KWh capacity is qualified regardless of how you plan to use it.

Yes hooking up to house is a requirement. However, what is not so clear is what constitute installed to your home. Some people think it needs to be installed like through a panel. Most people believe if you have it just plugged into an ac outlet constitute installation.

30%. If you are not aware of this I highly suggest you Google and do some research, don't just listen to what is said here. I am not trying to be a jerk but there's a lot of misinformation.

How is this a "solar generator"?

This product does not generate electricity, it stores electricity. Not saying it is a bad product, just false advertising.
