Please don't promote that data hoarding shady dealer on here. There is no reason to buy there.

Shady? 90 percent of the Chinese stuff you're buying that's posted here comes from the same factories. You're just paying triple the price.

Yes, their name was different. The CEO(s) were also different at one point. So what ??
(Entirely rhetorical here, don't feel compelled to answer because I've reached the quota for BS today)

The mental gymnastics happening in this thread are astounding.
If a 5-minute visit to Temu isn't enough to deter you from shopping there, perhaps a re-evaluation of your other choices is in order.

The entire Temu operation end-to-end is nefarious and suspicious. There's no need to sugarcoat it.
Sounds like the topic is above your head. If you don't want to shop at Temu, then nobody is making you. See how easy that is? Meanwhile, it has surpassed Amazon, Ali, Walmart, etc... as the #1 retail app.

Additionally, we were discussing the world wide web, Google, and Arpanet. The world wide web was post-Arpanet. Arpanet was originally just four nodes. The idea that the web is solely a product of Arpanet isn't realistic, as there would've been no reason to put "world" in the name if it was limited to local communication. However, that was the foundation of it.

Now you can tell your friends you learned something new today. Smilie

Do you think there's much difference between one from Temu or the Chinese tumbler from Michaels?
There's a minimum of $15 you have to purchase on Temu in order for them to ship, that's the difference.

Think you need to do some research about Temu and their shady business. I stopped shopping there because of it. There's a reason why their products are cheap.

Isn't there a minimum on Amazon as well? Like $35?

Well great, Then don't shop there. I have yet to have any problems with them.

More than likely they're cheap because it's coming direct from China. A lot of it is the same stuff you buy on Amazon, just under different brand names. But that's how the Chinese manufacture a lot of their products. The manufacture on demand for various brands, then those brands turn around and sell it for a markup.

This same "Celebrate It" brand, which is a subsidiary of Michael's sells in the Chinese markets (See Photo).. Manufactured in Zhejiang, China.

The point is that I'm buying from reputable companies that offer guarantees and return services. They offer a bit more transparency and don't make you jump through endless hoops to return or a replace. They also are a bit more scrutinized over their data collection and how they use my information.

This is a point of contention for sure, but it's been well documented over the nefarious nature of that brand's misuse and abuse of consumer data.

A "deal" isn't just the product you receive, but the entire experience as a consumer.
Their 90-day return just refund and you dont need to return the item if the item is cheap. If the item is higher priced, you get a free label to ship it via USPS. Just curious what hoops did you experience in the return process?

I hate that website. bought like 40 items. Kept 3.
Apparel is very cheaply made with polyester. Gadgets for the home and kitchen are okay. Just buy what you need not what they try to advertise to sell you.

Is this really how you do it? I was just asking my mom to put my wife's name on a Yeti bottle and she asked if it could be sublimated. How else would you put a name on?

I think I would trust description on michaels than on Temu. Yes they could be from the same factory but can you be sure they are using food safe stainless but not random industrial stainless? They can claim they are using 304 stainless but can you trust it?

When it comes to food safety or other safety device, you should avoid Temu and only trust large retailers. At least you have someone to sue Smilie

But we're not comparing Amazon to Temu are we? I have Amazon Prime and not all sellers are from China. Sure it's the same thing, but you know why it's cheap? Do some research on slave labor and avoiding taxes among other things.

In conclusion, if you support Temu, you're supporting the heart and soul of the CCP.

There's no way possible Temu would offer you free shipping/returns plus credits if you aren't satisfied with your purchase. Not even Amazon could handle that, so guess what, by doing this, Temu is slowly eliminating its competitions.

It says "online only" so you take a risk that it might not work trying it that way.

Thanks, the 32 oz bottle https://www.michaels.com/product/...t-10690726 lids look like I may be able to clumsily open them to get a quick drink while wearing 16 oz boxing gloves during MT class. Order in for 11 of them to get close to free shipping, they'll get used, my whole family trains

Anyone know if the Ozark Trail lids will fit the 27 oz tumbler?
