FYI, if you are looking at the "FineWoven" cases, they are HORRIBLE and NOT a good replacement for the leather cases. I've used the Apple leather cases for years but the new FineWoven is the worst Apple product I've used - after just a few days it's already permanently dirty, has a ring of little metal particles embedded in the shape of the magsafe ring, and I've dropped my phone more in a weekend than I had in the past year because it's so slippery.

The FineWoven cases are so bad that Apple has removed the review feature from the Apple Store site, and Amazon is limiting new reviews because the reviews are so negative.

The last few years leather cases were awful anyways. I finally moved on to bull strap and the quality is worlds apart.

Looks like it's not real leather. But I don't think you can tell the difference, and frankly, it has been way more durable than the Apple leather case I had on my 12.

Not sure why everyone is saying the leather went downhill. I've been buying them since I've been using iphones (since iphone 5) and haven't noticed any quality issues. I usually get about 16 months of use out of them, sometimes more. It is leather, so you have to keep it dry.

I bought the 14 pro at launch with the umber case, still using it today. Compared to previous ones, this one shows even less patina and wear a year in. I bought a backup due to the deal and them being discontinued, but I can probably get at least another 6+ months out of my current one.

My 13PM case looks like trash after not even 6 months. Luckily I got it for $15, but I'm pissed I even paid that much. I'm very gentle with my phones. The most wear and tear seen by this case is going in and out of my pocket. The leather has worn away completely all along the edges. Looks like trash. Not sure how you're gotten lucky, because there's no shortage of reviews noting this over the last few years
