One difference is the battery type, Lithium-ion on the river pro, so only like 800 charges. Vs LiFePO4 and over 2000 charges.
Still learning about these things slowly - why are they calling this a "solar generator?" From the post title l thought this was a power station and solar panel combo (& at 700W, a surprisingly powerful one at that) for a dirt cheap price, and was gonna jump all over it until I didn't see a solar panel anywhere.
because people are idiots. You are absolutely right, these should be called Power Stations. Yes, you can attach a solar panel to it, but it still does not 'generate' the power but simply stores it.

Not much on out there on this model in particular. What's the actual difference between this and the Bluetti EB55?

I'm seeing the PS54 at the Walmart link as $219, not $208 and the PS72 as $297, not $282.15. What are these "additional coupons"?

EDIT: Ah! I see the "Save an extra $10.95 Sign in to apply" link below "Add to cart" now.

Review of the PS72: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TjLDlY6ZM0
Summary: Mostly an EB70S, semi-updated, totally acceptable as basic unit without UPS or app, has an external charging brick.

Ecoflow is superior in product quality and customer service. Bluetti is a joke.

I'm in the shade so solar won't do much good. Also overcast in PNW but solar lawn lights seem to keep up. I have a small Tenergy for cpap but looking for more. Had power go out a week ago from "vandalism", not just storms. 2K out for six hours is not horseplay!
What kind of vandalism if you don't mind me asking?

I wonder how the Ecoflow refurb's are? I was hoping to hit up the Coscto event; however, it seems like none of the local admin people are even aware of their scheduled drop-in. So, maybe they cancelled their trips to coscto locations.

Seeing as they have direct-to-sell refurbs it might be a good alternative.

not sure, power company notification was vague and I don't get local paper. Pretty isolated case but there have been others last year that were far larger outages. Suspects said they were planning robberies when power was out. However there are others that may be acts of domestic terrorists, there are instructions on the web for it.

Are they selling refurbs at Costco?
