"Announced in March 2022, the iPad Air is now among the older iPads in Apple's lineup and it is likely at the end of its product cycle. Rumors suggest that a new iPad Air could come as soon as October 2023. This means that now not a good time to buy the iPad Air and most customers should wait for a new model to launch."
So, it's a great tablet, but unless you're going to use the Pencil or do some PC-type work on your Air, I'd stick with the regular iPad.

waiting to read all the apple defenders, "64GB is MORE than enough for *casual* users ! no one would ever need more than 32GB to beeee honest ! paying $500 for something with 64GB is a NON issue and very fair ! it's not over priced at all ! you have to be such a POWER user to even come close to using 64GB of storage.. that's insane ! it's good enough for watching stuff.. bc,,, you know.. no one ever downloads video via amazon prime or netflix {bc they do have those features} ! 64GB will last you for the next 4 years !"
