So anyone can provide an honest review of this thing if i tend to put my phone in my jeans pocket? does it make it hard to take it out/in?

These are pretty flat. I don't have any issue getting my phone out of my pocket.

The magnet grip is very strong. That's good most of the time, but it's kinda difficult to get it off when you want to do magsafe charging. Might depend on your case also.

I'm totally happy with my round grip but I think the original for sale here is just as good. The magnets on both are really strong, almost TOO strong to make magsafe charging convenient. I think the original is easier to get off but I love how the round grip looks and feels.

I've been using this thing (the all-black color) for about 1.5 years and I love it. I use it with my iPhone 12 mini and Otterbox Symmetry+ magsafe case. Very sturdy magnet, the back also has a rubber-like coating that grips your case/phone as well - zero chance of it falling off. Complaints are you have to remove it to charge wirelessly, and between my Otterbox case and this popsocket my phone tends to overheat in my hand while charging via lightning cable Also the all-black color heats up fast in the sun. I'm strongly considering purchasing this clear version, but I'd rather get the circular one as it's cleaner, lighter, and less-bulky looking/feeling on the back of ure phone.

These are on clearance now since the new model came out. The new one is better because the base is just round like that magsafe magnet and the magnets are stronger.

Am I the only one that puts the pop socket on toward the bottom of the phone rather than middle?
I can magsafe without removing the pop socket. Can also use it as a stand.
