Fyi, many toyota parts are made by denso. You can get OEM denso parts on rockauto for much cheaper.

47750-52400 is the PN of one of the caliper. it's $203 at boch toyota. no tax but $21 shipping. reg online price.
then toyotaofdecatur has it for $213 with free shipping and tax.

How long / how many days from ordering do these orders usually ship and when do you get tracking ? Are these parts actually coming direct from local dealers, or do they get sent to local dealer from warehouse and then to your house ?

It depends on the dealer and the parts(I hope you didn't go through Serra Decatur if you're in a hurry) they likely ship to dealer and then ship to you if they don't have it in stock (which they likely don't)

Sadness. had to take somethings apart of the toyota to check part number to verify, and didn't realize the sale ended yesterday.

Anyone know of similar promotion at another toyota dealership?

I placed a huge order of two dozen parts the last time and Eric from Serra was great with timely shipment.

Wow. Maybe you were the first order to be placed. My order was also several dozen parts and it was the complete opposite. I wasn't going to make that mistake again. Eric never responded to voice mails, emails or messages left with his employees. Then when you'd call, they would tell you that he is the only one that can help. It was a nightmare but I'm glad you were happy with him.

It was stated earlier that is was based off the original MSRP. That amount was then stacked onto their usual discount. It was a sweet deal that amounted to almost 50% off the MSRP.

Did anybody receive your toyota part purchase? I submitted an order at 09/28, I got invoice email at 10/01. It has been no shipping notification since then. I tried to call the dealership with the number provided in the invoice. Nobody answered the phone.

Read through the last few pages, there's a link to the last time this small dealership did a sale and it took them 2 or 3 months to get through the orders...it's a business with like 4 employees probably used to 10 orders a week and they probably just got several thousands. I can't get ahold of anyone either but really need to cancel if it won't be shipped within the next week or so.

It is very strange.
Due to the feedback posted here about the dealer in Decatur, AL being slow to ship, I changed and ordered from World Toyota, which is located in ATL GA. While ordering, I saw a part # for my 2020 Avalon for a PPF (paint protection film) kit. I added that to my order of brake rotors and pads, and a few other things.

I received a confirmation email almost right away - seven minutes to midnight last Friday night - just in the nick of time for the sale! I received another message early Monday morning saying the PPF kit may take some time to arrive. Therefore, I had them remove it from the order. The order was shipped Tues, and received the next day.

Definitely using World Toyota the next time this sale comes around.
