It really will be the best all around headset on the market and that doesn't even cover the boom of MR games that are going to come with this. All of us are rushing to make games for this emerging market. $499 ain't a bad price.

Which support department? I just got an alert by Bestbuy that they are doing 10% back through the 22nd btw
Anyhow, looks like the party is over now that this is circulating on SD. Oh well.
Anything new, OP, all?

Another option I saw would be to add it to a (fake) wedding registry to get 15% off... but that takes at least a couple weeks to get the coupon they give you for doing that.

Makes sense. The part that sucks is that the coupon works on the quest 2 but not the quest 3. Add in that on day one of presale, the coupon worked on the quest 3.

Saw that promocode ZIPFAN applies to Quest 3 on Newegg, they charge a 6$ financing fee.

Zip pay charged me $6 interest for this particular purchase.
This is all after they needed to check my credit report with soft inquiry.
I got an installment agreement from them and reading it, seems like $6 is all they wanted as interest for the whole thing, but I did not even bother: after I've made the purchase through them (using Zip pay), I just paid off the rest immediately (I logged into my Zip pay account to do this): I did not want to see any additional charges from Zip.
Hope this helps.
