Terrible specs information. How much power when using just one port? Most multi-port chargers will spell out what the output is when using 1 or 2 or 3 ports. This one does not which leads me to believe that no way you get 100W from one port when using only one port.

Better options out there.

noob question. I bought a couple other brands USB-C 2 port chargers, The issue I have is that when I plug in a 2nd device to charge, the one already charging always momentarily glitches. Is it typical of all multiple port chargers? Or some brands (like anker for example?) won't glitch?

I'm in no way knowledgeable as many on here about watts per port and the stuff that matters with this type device, but if this review is legit, seems like a decent, perhaps even slick, deal.

For USB-C, you will get 70 watt charging for your MacBook which can work in a pinch. Through MagSafe with this thing, I'm getting 100-watt charging and it will charge my MacBook to full if I'm down to 10-20% to full in about 30-40 minutes. It has two ports so you could simultaneously charge two things if needed but I don't have many USB-C items currently. All in all, very happy! If you have the 14" MacBook Pro M1 Pro or M2 Pro, this will work great for you!

The glitch is good. it means there is a chip in there renogotiating the voltages for the two ports and then starting up again. I have a charger that doesn't glitch and, while I haven't had any issues with it so far, i think it is less safe than the glitchy ones.

For the record, Anker chargers will generally glitch. The one I have is the Monoprice 100W. AN older version of this one: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=41986

That glitch is only needed if you need to reallocate power away from one of the devices already charging. If you buy a multi port charger that can run every port at its full power at the same time, then you would not see that glitch.

It's not a "glitch" at all, it's a quick and completely normal renegotiation of charging rates as devices are added/removed and is to be expected.

That's not necessarily true - it depends more on how the adapter is programmed. It's a fair bet to expect most devices to renegotiate as other devices are plugged in/removed.
