Neither you nor I even know the formulation or ingredients used in the coating. Simply assuming that the coating on this pan is safe is insanity, you are essentially hoping blindly that a big corporation won't choose profits over customer health and use the cheapest coating possible regardless of impact to it's customers. That's a bet you are extra-ordinarily likely to loose as companies have proven time and time again that profits come first.
Stainless Steel is comprised of iron and carbon, pretty simple and well proven. If you feel that non-stick coatings aren't adverse to your health would you consent to eating 5g of Teflon shavings every meal? Completely safe according to you.

The size is right and I tried the extra seal that came with my instant pot. No issues using it with the stock steel pot.

If it still doesn't come off then put the same solution ( water + soap + vinegar) on stove and heat the solution combined with mild scrubbing with a pot cleaning brush and your pot should come as NEW!!!!
Just made Indian Chicken Biryani and it turned out perfect. I won't be buying it to-go again.

Thus is a low quality coated aluminum pot in the obsolete pattern which can't be used on the stove or induction.
No sticking with the pot-in-pot method. No burn error, no cleaning of the main pot, no wearing out of the pot.
With the Evo style with handles I will start and finish on the induction cooker or regular stove which speeds things up immensely and saves wear on the I.P heating element. I'd pay $60 more to get a complete Pro not to have to deal with the obsolete pot especially this cheap aluminum replacement
