I usually buy clones and knock-offs... and for the AT-ST in this set this is actually a good deal even from that perspective. The troopers not so much, I've got a zillion of these for my kid already, but as a bonus I won't complain. A lot of the official lego hoth stuff isn't in production anymore.

Yeah I'm getting into technics. After seeing prices on some these sets I'm dipping into the clones. I got my first set today which is the Sian. Reviews say it's nearly identical at barely a quarter of the Lego price. I'd never bought this kit otherwise so Lego isn't losing anything lol. If it's good enough I'll stick with clones.
I would assume no. The AT-ST retailed for $50 and was $40 on sale alone. The 3-1 sets usually give you a sets that are $35 and below.
The last few years the Star Wars 3 in 1 sets have always totaled $90 and sold for $50. This is $70 total and selling for $45, it should be cheaper, but it's LEGO so that will never happen.

This combo is a savings of approximately $10-$11.
Not very slick. You can get both cheaper.
And where can you get these cheaper?
