Is this same as MaxV Ultra?
The "V" is missing.
Not the same. Life isn't the same without the V.

Is it me or a $1000 for a vacuum is just too much?!
Lol, I'm with you. I make very good money and I wouldn't spend on this. I don't know much about it, but it seems like any other tiny robovac. It may navigate and clean well, but a human still has to clean the robovac and put water in it. I would just buy a normal well rated vacuum and get the exercise doing a little house work.

That being said, if people wish to spend on a gadget and have spare cash lying around, go for it . To each, their own. The economy needs you to keep the machine going.

You guys see the new dreame l20 ultr model? Looks really nice and was going for 1k if preorder. I bet it will be 1k again during prime day. That model has hot water dual rotating mops.

I got one of these during the last Prime Day and it has exceeded my expectations! Had a couple of Roombas in the past and this thing blows them out of the water.

Protip: If you add about a tablespoon of citric acid into the bottom of the dirty water tank after every time you empty it will prevent it from getting funky and growing mold.

Does Amazon price match? I just ordered one from Amazon yesterday.
Amazon does not price match. You can try via chat though. They may adjust. Or you can return it.

You left out the mopping part - vacuuming and mopping is not a "little house work", and for hardwoods it can be a daily activity, especially with kids and dogs. And some of us prefer to get exercise doing things that are fun, like outdoor activities, instead of mundane housework. I suspect many folks, like me, use this for the daily clean and then do a weekly or monthly cleaning by hand.

You assume folks buying these are lazy, rather they are just making choices about how they spend their time. Some folks enjoy washing their car by hand, others drive through a car wash so they can get to their tee time.

Thing is amazing fyi. Been a 10yr robovac'er and this is the first time I ever felt like I was living in the future. Also having a home that's mostly hardwood helps a lot.

May I ask where you learned that adding citric acid is safe?

I keep a spray bottle of white distilled vinegar for cleaning purposes. I just spray a few sprits into the container every time I empty it and it does the trick, no mold no odor.

How long does it take to get approved for red card? Worried about applying and then it takes a week or 2 for the card to arrive and deal is gone.
Approval is immediate and you can use the card when approved when you select that option at the beginning of the application.
Unfortunately the initial limit is $100 so there is no way to use redcard for this purchase without waiting to get the physical card.
source, been dealing with this exactly issue since yesterday, i guess im still $800 richer Smilie
