If you are Google Fi users, you can order from Google Fi app and get INSTANT $400 off on 8 Pro and $300 off on 8. But trade-in values suck. I get only $90 for my Pixel 6 while google store gives trade-in of $325.

I ordered from Fi app.

Another thing to consider buying at BB vs. Google store is that BB will refund the tax difference. Meaning you'll pay tax on end cost after trade in vs. on full price at Google.

The $20 is just for the Pixel buds pro. I also have the Google One discount, so what they're saying is that they dropped $1k on the Pixel 8 Pro just now. In about a month (can't remember exactly how long they make you wait), they'll have an account credit of $100 from that Google One rebate. Stack that with a coupon that gives 40% ($80) off the buds pro, and they're paying $20 for buds pro in a month or so.

Google was really generous last year for the Pixel7 trade in.

I don't think they're gonna make that mistake again,

That being said there was a two week period last Black Friday where there was a $100-150 price drop combined with bonus trade values

Also if you don't want the watch or buds freebies Google will offer higher trade in values after release.

They're being pretty generous with Pixels that are a couple generations old. I think they're more worried about someone with a 2-3+ year old phone jumping ship than they are someone with a 7 or 7 pro doing the same.

Its not a glitch. That's how it works. They will not charge until they ship the order. So your store credit will show up as available until they ship your first order. But when they ship the second order they will charge full price because now system shows $0 credit available.

$300 trade in for the Pixel 5 is decent especially since the Pixel 5 is now EOL and no longer gets any updates (Android or security) as of this month.

I'm trying to order this with Verizon as my carrier. My billing address with Verizon is a PO Box and Google will only deliver it to the address connected with Verizon but also won't deliver to a PO Box. Anyway to get around this?

Last year Best Buy had killer deals once the phones were actually launched - Pixel 7 + $100 gift card was $200 with Pixel 6 trade in. I don't need the ear buds, I'll wait for something similar, if it doesn't happen I'm holding on to the Pixel 7 even though battery life sucks.
