I've purchased two of these as temp solutions for our comforter and have washed both of them several times and they don''t clump up at all. Seriously impressed with the value of these for the price. I've purchased $50 down alternative comforters from target/kohls with worse quality than these.

I don't love microfiber either, but for anyone who uses benzoyl peroxide products, synthetic materials are necessary if you don't want bleaching. It's heartbreaking to spend 50-100+ on a beautiful quilt or comforter set to see it turn blotchy orange at the top the first time it's washed after use because it touched your face while you slept.

What do you mean by "temp solutions for our comforters"?

We're in Wisconsin and looking to see if these are warm enough by themselves during fall and/or winter. We keep the thermostat at 65 in the night.

Just buy them and return the new ones… doing it any other way is scummy and a huge problem to save a couple dollars.

Costco does returns in reverse. So if I try to return the new ones, they will go by the most recent transaction

I've been thinking about a new, light comforter. I can't stand a hot blanket! I bought a king size blanket for $20 at Costco because I wanted to be nice and warm, but I end up kicking it off at night because I sweat. My cheap comforter I bought used for my camper is better for me! I'll look at a couple of these for myself.

It doesn't work that way. Even if you bring the old receipt, they go by the most recent purchase. At least in my store thats policy. That's how I found out.

Obviously they are not the same blanket. But they are both "all season" down alternative blankets. Without weight and thread count I can guess that they will be about the same warmth so if I don't like one I won't like either, but maybe someone knows otherwise.
