Warts will often go away on their own (or utilizing any of the placebo effects listed in this thread), though the process can take years. Killing the HPV virus can be effective with freezing or over the counter salicylic acid.
Be sure not to scratch the wart so as to prevent spread

Pineapple.
The bromeline in pineapples/pineapple juice will kill them quick. A little dab of pineapple on the wart and drinking/eating some pineapple each day for ~week and you're done. Freezing is uncomfortable and takes longer for the affected site to dry up, fall off, and begin to heal. Plus pineapple is tasty.

Probably not an approved application, but I can verify I've done this on small skin tags and it's worked well.

Is this good for genital warts? AFAF LMAO
Tea tree oil, applied after a hot shower for 5 mins, then rinse after that 5 mins of application time, works permanently after doing this for a month or two. The freeze method works for a little bit but comes back. Any warts, not just genital warts.

Anyone know the shelf life on this? I don't need it now, but wondering how long it will last if I throw it in the medicine cabinet until I need it

Mix equal amounts of baking soda and castor oil (should toothpaste consistency, just add either to make it about right). Open up a wart (chop/scratch off the top layer dead skin) apply paste and bandaid on top. Change twice a day. Will take a couple of weeks to get rid of the wart, depending on it's size, etc. Simple, painless.

Adapalene gel (an OTC acne treatment) has been proven to work, too.
