Final trade-in value includes promotional credit of $100. So it's not trade-in value + $100.

1. You need a plan and the cheapest one is 15 + tax
2. You need to keep the plan active for at least 67 days
3. After 67 days, you need to call/chat to request unlock
4. Your total initially when placing the order is 399 + tax
5. After you send in your trade and they receive it, it will take around 2-3 weeks to receive the trade in credit. Depending the agent who processes your trade in but I believe most of the time, it will post to your account and you need to call in to request them crediting back to your CC.

Hope that helps

You will pay 399+ tax when placing the order. After they process your trade in, you will get whatever the amount (218 in your case) crediting to your account. The 36 months contract is only for payment plan. You can cancel your plan anytime after the trade is processed and your phone is unlock if you pay in full.

Got shot down twice for unlock. First group transferred me to another group and both held firm on the 60/67 days.
67days rule is firm as stated in the unlock policy. Your account should be active for 67 days and in good standing. and there is another 60 days rule that Spectrum Reps always bring up is that the phone should be on the account for 60 days which is not mentioned in their unlock policy.
So if you meet the 67days rule, then there shouldn't be a problem. and I've always done this. Sometimes they say they will get back to you via email or call, but I got messages with an unlock code within a week or so.
It seems like Spectrum has an issue with training their employees about the unlock policy. Only few people in the upper management know about it and agreed to unlock before 60days.

My account is way older than 67 days. I've met all the terms of the policy posted online.
They both said the system didn't allow the unlock when they tried. I'll try again.

They must be lying or just don't know how to get around the 60days system limitation.
You've already met the requirement and there shouldn't be a problem unlocking your device.
You should ask for a supervisor or tech support who can override. This is ridiculous that they kept on saying the same thing like robots. They have a brain then that they should understand the current unlock policy.

I saw that Spectrum shipping the phone via FedEx 2-day shipping.
If I use the FedEx Delivery Manager, is it possible to redirect the shipping address or make it pick up at a FedEx store or FedEx shipping center?
No one at home during the day, so hard to sign and receive the package. Spectrum ships the phone only to the service address.

You can electronically sign the waiver so the item can be left without your signature.

I spoke to multiple departments today, all reps are saying, phone has to be on spectrum network for 60 days then only the device can be unlocked. They tried to unlock it but system is not allowing them.

Has anyone experienced any overheating issues on this yet? Does it get too warm? I'm not sure if I should go for this deal since I owned a Pixel 6a and it would get so hot that I could barely hold it. I could just be browsing the Internet and the phone would overheat.

Thank you to the person that reiterate that this offer doesn't split between 36 month bill cycle if you pay in full. Just got my Flip 5 unlocked today from spectrum and upgraded the line again for the P8P Bay (wasn't really going to do this again but I did for the Matte and Color, trading my ancient Pixel 3 for $105. Around $325 for the upgrade, 60 days is worth the wait to unlock.

Yes, last I check (a month ago), you can do in store where they just take your trade in but I wasn't able to complete the process due to an error. The employee confirmed they will take the trade in on the spot.

Just a reminder not all store will carry the phone, I figured to call to confirm but all calls gets routed to their calling center and there is no way to confirm unless you go in person at the store. So if you have multiple location to choose, chose one that is biggest. GL. laugh out loud

It was warm (a little bit, not too much that it was jolting) during the initial installation. As far as I can tell from my less than one day of use, browsing/watching videos/using Discord does not warm up the phone at all

Same. It was only during initial setup it got warm. After that it's been normal. Browsing videos email Internet and no issues so far.
