    It's a 32 inch screen. Your description of the difference is overblown in my opinion. If it were bigger, like 50+, I'd be more inclined to agree. Not to say there isn't a difference at 32, but I think for a spare room or something with casual use, it'd be fine.

    Just purchased this and picked up from the local Best Buy today. Using it to replace an old 24" TV in the garage. 32" isn't a lot bigger but the space I have to mount it isn't huge.

    Lots of naysayers on this thread but for my needs and the price, seems to be a good deal. Someone said it is super slow to startup and the menus are slow to respond to input. That is not the case at all for mine. I don't know, maybe you need an update of firmware?

    Either way, eight more inches for $80 was well worth it for me...

    Most cable channels and streaming channels are in 720p anyway so you won't notice a difference and when screens are smaller the pixels are closer together. And if you want to watch something in best quality you won't be watching it in a 32-in TV anyway

    I got this tv on a BF deal for $50
    I would rather have my $50 back.
    I hate this tv.

    The fireTV OS ruins everything. its menus are slow, and it won't even let you use HDMI inputs if it hasn't communicated with its voice remote in a while.

    Why does it need communication with a mic enabled remote just to let you use an HDMI input with a universal remote?

    I picked up one, The TV is really really thick, like 2005 TV thick, not really an issue though just more of a comment. The picture is much better than I expected for a 720P.

    My only issue is Fire tv kills the deal. Would prefer dumb tv over fire. Fire tv is leggy, buggy and bad

    what a waste...like many people here, I'd pass and save up just $20-$50 for better 1080p/4k options in a month, or coming weeks. Now if budget is serious concern and you don't care how average 720p and no worry how slow the firetv interface is, then go for it...since $80 "seems" like a slick savings.
