Although the Best Buy product listing reads "Save up to $1,140.00 when you trade in a similar device [archive.ph]" (screenshot [archive.org]), there is currently no trade-in value that high. When I collected the data from all 2816 eligible trade-in SKUs, the highest trade-in value was $950.00.

I sold my 7 for 400 and that was 11 months after release. It's not as dramatic as you're making it. The 7 was $600 new. iPhones hold value, we get it.

I cannot find an option to trade in Iphone 13 Pro Unlocked, it asks me to select a carrier. So does Best Buy not accept Unlocked iphones ? or should I fake a carrier and try my luck.

My bad, I mistook 6a for iphone xs.
Pixel 6a trade in value is - $140+300=$440
Edit- this trade in value is for iphone xs.

I placed an order for Pixel 8 and total comes out after trade in at $318. (Edit- trade in was for iphone xs not pixel 6a)

Sorry for the confusion.
