Although the Best Buy product listing reads "Save up to $1,140.00 when you trade in a similar device [archive.ph]" (screenshot [archive.org]), there is currently no trade-in value that high. When I collected the data from all 2816 eligible trade-in SKUs, the highest trade-in value was $950.00.

Anybody know will BB accept different device for trade in other than what was placed during the order? Ordered with SE 2022 as trade in but now planning to swap it to XR. or should I simply cancel and replace the order

They can't change the device. They can cancel and help you place order again but if the preorder bonus is gone, you probably might not get the deal. It's better if you can cancel and place a new order now

I got the trade in an XR for unlocked pixel 6 pro for $350 last year and feel like I got ripped off
Tensor 2 is hot garbage and I doubt Tensor 3 is any better
The phone over heats and can't even get 2 hours SOT from 100% with no standby time at all.
The camera app says too hot to use zoom and macro even in the rare case or doesn't actually feel hot
Tensor TDP is the worst I have ever seen.

I'm trying to trade in my unlocked iPhone XR but I don't see an option for that. I have to choose 1 of the four operators listed. Bestbuy chat wasn't helpful at all. Any idea what I should do?

Pick any of the options. They don't check carrier when trading in your phone.

Trade in value for a S10e 256 GB is $800... 🤔 is that a deal? Granted, no SDXC slot. Probably not a deal because I'm using up about 120 GB currently allocated, but that's without the stuff on the SDXC card.🤷🏻

Hm. I'm on Verizon and I see $199.08 total for the 128GB Pixel 8 pro which is offered using $5.53 for 36 months when I trade in a S10e with 256GB / 8GB memory. Maybe it's location based? I'm not sure and really not sure if I should bite though with the capacity. I have to log into Verizon's login to complete the trade in to do it. Oh, and they need to check your credit to see if you qualify. I would qualify but I'm on the fence with the capacity honestly.

ah yea verizon offers better trade in but you have to get it over 36 months. Which is why its better as they know it will basically keep you for at least 3 years. if your worried about storage 256gb is another 60 bucks. If its not in stock at bestbuy for the version locked one just check on verizons own site for it.
