I actually have a pristine Apple 11 or 12 Pro Max with more memory that was one of my kids to either sell or trade and that's why I checked this post BUT I am not familiar with the Google phones BUT know Apple makes a darn fine phone.
So why all the interest in this Google cell phone (especially referencing trading in an Apple) if you don't mind me asking??
Thanks in advance.

Now, the whole trade-in an apple device actually works out great for those of us sticking with Apple. I have an iPhone 13 Pro that I was going to sale, turns out after fees I can only get about $500 for it. Instead, I am getting $780 for it from Best Buy and in-turn will also sale the Pixel 8 Pro and Watch. Ultimately, I'll pocket a bit more than the $500 from just selling the 13 Pro.

On one hand, you just have to sell an iPhone 13 Pro and make a little less money.
On the other hand, you have to sell BOTH a Pixel phone and Pixel watch (unless you can swing a bundle). Given this and other recent deals, it's quite likely the market will have already been met / saturated in this context, so you may make barely any more money despite the extra hassle (of doing the trade-in, doing two sales, etc.).
Given this, I'm leaning towards just selling my older iPhone and calling it a day.
