I usually disagree that Air Fryer is a glorified toaster oven with a fan. Because it's more than that and truly air fry things crispier than toaster oven. But in this case, this unit is the exact definition of a glorified oven with a fan. Not worth your money.
1. Design, the french door looks cool and convenience but it's loosing so much temp from the gap it takes 2x longer to cook vs a cheap airfryer/oven.
2. Airfry fan is tiny on the side, doesn't move enough air to truly air fry anything. You get result at little better than toaster oven but that's about it.
3. Toaster Oven, its works fine here but it does makes your kitchen warmer because of the terrible design. Also easy to get burn if you're not careful with this machine. To summarize this unit is a basically a toaster oven but with design flaw that makes it worse than cheaper options.
I ended up buying the $40 Gourmia airfryer from Costco and it works 100x better. Also cheaper the only thing I wish these airfryer unit has is the stainless steel basket vs the nonstick coated stuff.

I thought the point of an air frier is so the drawer is washable. I love mine.
At this point you're just wasting counters pace for a slightly faster oven.

And when I looked at the reviews that it got AFTER the holidays, usually like 2 to 4 months in , many people experienced the same issue or something else when the fryer just died and didn't work at all.
I know this is more of a toaster oven, but it won't turn on or engage either , if it thinks the door/s are open, so they may still be using the same sensor.
And the company wanted me to ship it to them, but I had to pay for shipping and its heavy! It woulda been over $30 to ship and the unit only cost $60 , so it wasn't worth it.

Mine has a handle on the top that goes down and it seals it overall well much better than this one.
