What if you have solar? For example I have Tesla solar and charge my M3P strictly on solar. There is a setting in the app. I keep the car plugged in and when there is enough Solar power the car is charged. Using the car locally and only charging to 80%, I've yet to dip below 50% battery. Granted we have not taken it for long road trip and not used a super charger yet since its a sedan and have ICE SUV. My local electrical company charges 10 ¢/kilowatt-hour (kWh) and same amount to sell any access back (netmetering). My gas guzzling M BMW takes premium gas at around $4.00 a gallon as alternative to EV. The M3P is very efficient from my perspective and several months of use even though I have heavy foot.

Did you pay the MSRP or one of the deep discounts through inventory? If latter maybe a little consolation but otherwise well nothing can be done and this should be expected with Tesla's price swing. Or you can try calling them for a refund like calling Best Buy or Target..lol.

So i sold my 2011 Lexus RX350 with 65k Miles (so we barely drove it. average 5k miles a year). The value prop was just too good, with raising gas prices, the great resale of a lexus, the rebates, and the inventory discounts I calculated the trade in to cost me under 20k in the end which i felt was a steal going from a ~13 year old car to a new model y.

Loll I paid MSRP because at the time I ordered there were no discounted vehicles in my area

Depending on when you brought your Model 3, the new 3 and Y should be better. I purchased my Y in 2022 and it is much better than my friends 3 from 3 yrs ago. Also, right after my Y purchased, they updated the y suspension that might be a little more quiet, but haven't ridden in a new one.

2018 Dual Motor Model 3 owner here. 140 k miles, 10 percent battery degradation. Replaced tires and cabin air filters twice (diy, 20 bucks each time). 2500 air conditioner failure fix at 120k miles. Charge at work half the time, save 3k per year on "fuel" compared to a gas vehicle. Car feels brand new with software updates and timeless design (at least until highland comes out) I'm an admitted fan boy but it's because of all the above.
