wait for it to come down .. as toyota and honda have not released their cars yet.. so tesla is teasing now

Honda has no car to release- They're rebadging a GM one, next year, that isn't especially good to begin with.

Toyota already released theirs, the bz4x it's hilariously garbage and nobody is buying it--- they sold a total of 3,659 in the US the entire first half of 2023. Which is roughly 100x fewer than Tesla sold just in one quarter.

Model Y is not much better. Trust me. I hate it.
Anything at the top of your list to replace it? I'm torn, but want to trade up to something smoother and quieter without too much feature loss.

I wouldn't go for an EV that is like the first edition. I am not saying it is going to have issues but the probability would be higher compared to an EV already coming from an assembly line that is ongoing for couple years. If you want an alternative ID4 or Mach-e could be options but imo Tesla is better.
its like 90% the same car as the zdx, blazer ev and the lyriq. the former 2 arent out yet but the lyriq has been out for a lil while.

Wait until this guy finds out about traditional auto dealer markups over the past few years….
Jokes on you if you paid markups. Apparently you're not familiar with "negotiating"? I've never paid anything at or near sticker and have purchased over 10 cars in my lifetime.

Don't believe any of the number by manufacturers. It is not just Tesla, every one of them is like that.
If you are doing 55 to 60 on a windly day with average 70s to 80s degree, then you do get close to that. If you doing 75 and on a cold day, you can forget about the range.
Tesl ais the worst offender and purposely code their estimator to show more range even when they know it'll never hit that #. Deceitful company

I wonder if I should trade in my model 3 for model y. I hate all the interior noise from model 3.
dont bother. Its not better and you'll have to pay about $30K for the "more quieter model". I use my airpods and turn on active noise cancelling when I absolutely need it. All my vehicles are super quiet with that on, lol. Seriously though, dont.

How can you say a car that's only been available for four years last forever? Have you heard of battery degradation. In 10 years from now your batter range will be closer 200 miles if it still works. On top of this you aren't exempt from bearing replacement, tie rods, control arms and bushings. We have no idea how long these will cars will last.
Stop scaring people. https://electrek.co/2023/04/25/te...gradation/

How so? The market changes. Just as other manufacturers offer incentives to dealerships, rebates to consumers, and low APR rates on certain models. Tesla simply adjusts their prices based upon market conditions and their desire to sell more vehicles. Instead of offering a $2k manufacturers rebate, which is still subject to sales tax, they lowered the price so you don't pay sales tax on that price change.
