You then made up a bunch of stuff I DID not claim and argued about it.
As explained to you repeatedly now- including citing your exact words where you claimed I said things I never did.
You need only scroll back to my last reply where I quote you making up the "all americans" claim when I never said that as but one example.
Here, below we have [B]another[/B example of you making up a thing I never said because it shares a couple of words with a thing I DID say- -then pretending I said the thing you made up:
That's a thing you made up that I never said.
Here's the thing I actually said
See how what you CLAIMED I said is very different from my actual words.
That's been basically every post you've made about this--Ignoring my actual words and then just making up things I didn't say and pretending I did and insisting your imaginary things are wrong.
You literally did and I quoted you saying it
Here it is again:
See how YOU said all americans as my claim-- despite the fact I never made that claim?
Dude- you're really bad at this.
The NYT source is.... the American Time Use Survey.
Same as Nathan Yau.
BOTH are using the same source from BLS
And both said the same conclusion I did regarding hours spent at home-- combine waking and sleeping and it's more than enough time to charge back the average miles driven on even the slowest 120v plug in a normal home.
here's the direct link to BLS where you can see that's the name of it.
https://www.bls.gov/tus/
Again you embarrass yourself.
Your source uses literally the same source as mine
The guy in the link I posted did exactly what you describe with the numbers. As he explains in the story. That you obviously didn't bother to read.
Again you embarrass yourself.
Already provided higher up in this post
And the last post.
Because that's what you did.
Except when you make up words instead- which I just cited you doing multiple times in this very post.
If you had anything else to say besides that and strawmen I might.
But you don't.
Help me out here. Your words is cheaper than average new car in the US. So that means, assuming a normal distribution, and your claiming that a Tesla costs "cheaper than the average new car in the US," does a Tesla cost or less than most new cars? Want to think over that one? So yes, when you claim that the Tesla is cheaper than the average new car in the US, you absolutely are claiming it's cheaper. Or is that logical too complicated for you? Additionally, I noticed that you glossed over the part where the size/usage of the car matter. So yes, I can definitely see a Model 3 coming in below let's say a Ford truck. But that's the typical apples to oranges comparison you love to make.
Embarrass myself? FIrst of all, did you actually bother reading YOUR OWN LINK. On that flowingdata link you provided, here is what Nathan Yau said:
"For each year, I counted the total minutes for each activity and divided by total waking time to estimate percentages. For privacy reasons, the where is not provided for when respondents were sleeping, grooming, or doing personal activities. I suspect the total percentage of time spent at home for both years would increase if these times were included."
You might notice the words like "I" or "I suspect." In other words Nathan Yau MODIFIED/NORMALIZED the data. We DIDN'T see the raw data from the BLS. We DIDN'T see the transformation. We DON'T know what he did for exceptions handling or whether his use of null data is valid. This is NOT the same as using raw source from BLS. And again, as I said, this is not saying what he did is wrong, just that we have no way to confirm the DISPARATIY between raw and modified dataset. And it's a TWO HOUR DISPARAITY, not some rounding error. Ask a monkey to explain it to you.
Also as I've stated, you've made ZERO attempt to analyze actual driving habit. A housewife can stay a home 24 hours a day if she wants and bring up the average. Now the husband who's gotta work 8.7 hours plus commute plus shopping and who actually has to drive the car. Yeah he might have to worry about the charge time/costs. What a concept.
So let's not mince words and talk about what really happened here. You googled an article that fits your narrative, an article you clearly haven't bothered reading. Then when presented with a contradicting source, you then actually went to google the office source, after of course me highlighting which survey it was.
And again, not saying Nathan Yau is wrong, but your behavior is quite telling.

And since you just keep repeating them I figured I'd start repeating pointing them out.

But yes, do you lie much. Do you deny that you that you used "vast majority." Yes or no. Don't beat around the bush. It's a simple question.
Also, did you or did you state a Tesla is cheaper than the average new car, aka, having a price lower than most new cars in the US, assuming a normal distribution. Yes or no. Again, don't beat around the bush.
Electric boats have existed since the late 1800s my dude. Again you're making up imaginary fears we factually know are not a thing.
Sales figures say otherwise, with BEV sales rapidly outpacing Hybrids already and almost everyone but Toyota recognizing they're at best a stopgap until they can figure out how to profitably make full BEVs.
You spent 10 posts denying you said it, after claiming I said it- which I did not- now you appear to finally admit you said it, not me.
Again seems useful to keep pointing these out (hilariously these were in the post you replied to, and you still asked me if I said them or not INYOUR REPLY where I quote what I actually said-- again showing you don't actually read what you reply to, you just make up stuff then demand to know why I don't agree with your imagination)
Here's the thing I actually said
