This is a very small throwing knife made of very cheap steel with a tiny wrapped paracord handle. It is quite difficult to hold securely due to the tiny handle area and is one of the most dangerous knives I have ever used for the person holding the knife. No price is cheap enough to mitigate the high probability of the user cutting themselves with this knife if using this for any normal cutting tasks. It's a passable letter opener but I would avoid for other uses.

This thing is ridiculously small for adult maybe for a child and has really small tangs that I would advise against for someone that age. I bought it for my 8 year old and I didn't give it to him for those reasons.

Ah, the legendary $4 knife. I keep hearing in other knife threads that this thing cuts the same as a $35 Kershaw or $50 Civivi, but I don't think I'm going to buy it and find out.

Bought a pack of 12 or so of these off here for $10 or something. Look exactly the same. Would wait for that.

In many states you can't legally carry a knife with a blade longer than 3.5".

Usually the width of the hand is a good rule, either way, cheap knife for the door pocket if you want one to have in a pinch

Well it will cut the same as any other knife with the same edge, regardless of cost or material (the physics doesn't change, the shape is what makes it sharp). How well it holds that edge, the brittleness, corrosion resistance etc are a different matter though.

Great movie even if I've grown to dislike Adam Sandler with time.
I personally haven't grown to dislike Adam Sandler, but I can agree I can no longer tolerate 90's Adam Sandler movies. Many of his newer movies are quite solid in contrast. Old Adam Sandler is like anything from Pauly Shore...just doesn't hit the same once you are no longer 14.

Edit: Silly me, I judging by the downvotes I should known that the people who are in the market for a $4 paracord "survival knife" are probably the same people who can recite Billy Madison word for word. I apologize. Reminds me of what my grandma always used to say...."You Ain't Cool Unless You Pee Your Pants!"
