Site issue: search box covered up by pop-up menu when typing into search field at the top

When I tap the search box at the top of the main page a pop-up menu comes up covering the search field so I cannot see what I am typing. I am using Chrome browser on iPad.

The classic version of Slickdeals is being retired so unfortunately, this issue may not be fixed but as a workaround, you can tap the magnifying glass to be taken to the search page (before typing anything) where you can then enter your text in the secondary search box without that pop up being in your way.
