I'll try it since it is returnable and there were some recent 1-star reviews also that made me leery. There were many good reviews too though. I haven't had a waffle maker in years. If there are any issues I'll send it back. Thx op, tu and repped!Smilie Crazy prices for the other colors! nod

Yes, probably. Do you any premade food? Do you drive a car that has plastic in it? Use plastic storage containers?

Browned carbs (the tasty bit of the waffle) are probably more cancerous than whatever you absorb from the Teflon.

Actually non stick is quite stable when not over heated. It's missused non stick pans that are more of an issue
