Another way to look at it is you're getting a discount on the TV if you finance because money has value over time. Even if you could buy it outright, throwing that cash in a Treasury bill gets you 5% annually

Adding from the previous 77" thread…

Got 77" for 2105 before tax, including extra 10% from chat and $100 credit for tv trade in. Don't suspect it goes lower this year.

Mine arrived, but was cracked and no picture. Have to return and reorder, no replacements through Samsung.com. Also have to wait to get the price match to the reorder until after second order ships. They appear to only ship on Fridays so waiting a week for all of it. Huge pain.

It's a big discount but I probably won't order direct from Samsung again. This is the case where I may well wait until BF now and buy elsewhere.

Finance the TV at 0% and put the money in Treasuries or CD

My S90CD was delivered yesterday - so far so good!

If you're using AGS for last mile delivery, try calling to see if they can deliver earlier than what is shown online. I was able to get mine 2 days earlier than the earliest appointment.
Where did you get a number to call? I don't see one on their site or email, just the online scheduling option which seems a bit buggy.

We're happy with it after a couple of days, we got this instead of a previous TCL QM8 75" that I ended up returning. Brightness seems good and the size is awesome for an OLED. I'm sure something like the G3 is better still, but this is much more affordable right now.
How did u like the QM8? Can u do a comparison, im on the fence

I can't remember where I found the number, but here's what I used. 1-800-452-1223

Personally, I like the colors and deep
blacks of this better than the QM8. The QM8 always felt a bit dull compared to this in my opinion. I also like the slightly bigger size.
Might be just me but I find it hard to go back to LCD once you've had OLED. We had the 65" S95B OLED previously which is now in a different room.

How was S95B? Did you run into any quality or burn in issues? I am looking at S90C 65 which can come with 1st or 2nd gen panel. 1st gen panel is identical to s95B

Here's my coupon code. It should work for the first person even with EPP. I tested it on a separate account.

They refuse to price match the couponed price after it didn't apply to me order. They want a return and reorder, to heck with them. Awful experience overall.

EDIT: REDEEMED

If you use it and want to buy me a coffee in exchange, I wouldn't say no 😂. But enjoy, some internet stranger.

Did they let you open the box and ensure the tv worked and wasn't damaged before they left?

They did not, it was just a threshold delivery, so they brought in the box, I signed a paper and they left. That said I wasn't able to set it up until the evening anyways since it's too big for one person.

No quality issues per se, although recently the auto dimming has been aggressive and there's a weird buzzing noise (I think something to do with the power supply). I'm planning to have Samsung come look at it before the warranty is up. No burn in issues though, although I don't really do anything with my TV that would typically cause burn in

Just received my 77" S90CD today! Tested it right after delivery and everything seems ok!
Went with the $1999 price + 2-years of Samsung Care+.

Delivery was smoother than expected with AGS for Samsung. The estimated delivery at the time of order was 11/2, then I got a link to schedule online for 10/31. But they called yesterday and we scheduled for a 10/27 9am-1pm time window and gave me a 30 minute call in advance (very helpful). So it came in 4 days after the order date and 6 days earlier than expected.

Condition of the box was very good. They strapped it along with 2 other S90CDs to the inside of their truck that were also out for delivery.

You'll definitely want some help when unpacking as it's so big, but the box is very well designed to unpack and setup without damaging the TV. Was debating this and the LG C3, and so far I'm glad with my choice based on the picture quality. I also think it's not mentioned enough, but I feel the anti-reflective coating is done better on the S90CD than the LG C3; people say there's a pinkish hue, but you really can't tell. I'd rather not see myself in a reflection looking at the TV straight on.

Can't wait to test out G-Sync and games. Smilie

Interesting note I originally ordered with 10% discount and the TV was updated to the CD version. I canceled that order and went with the $1899 plus warranty and the C version was shipped. Wonder how they determine which model is shipped? Should be here next week.

You can turn off the asbl (auto dimming) in the service menu. Did that on my S95B it was very annoying.
