The options are far and few and are getting even worse. See my earlier post. I have a Hoover with the option and it no longer stops the detergent even if I switch it to rise over wash. Replacement parts are almost $70 and who knows if they are new or not on Ebay.

Are there any Hoover models that do have rinse in the 200-300 price point? Any other brands you can recommend at this price point, in this form factor (upright carpet cleaner)?

I'm not ready for a canister yet. Nor am I ready for a nice SEBO/Miele/Lindhaus yet. Maybe in the future but not today.

I know this is old but I just came across this looking for a replacement for my 20 year old unit. It still works for the most part except it's not pushing water out of bottom.
To my amazement the model still looks exactly the same, and yes it does have rinse function.. except, mine is a Hoover but this one is now a Bissell??
