$10 or so for random screen protectors on Amazon if that worried about scratching the glass. I destroyed many of them over years with my Forerunner, and the actual watch glass is still perfectly fine. 🤷 ♂️
I actually have a matte film on my sapphire epix because I'm weird and I like matte displays.
I looked up the domain on Whois and the registration is private.

Review on Yelp about an order for $1042 4 months ago. Order not received. No response from texts. Multiple Yelp reviews that prices are good, but any after the sale support is, good luck...
Hard pass on this deal for me. Too sketchy.

I have the 6x pro myself. I never take mine off either. But I am out and about a lot working with my hands and hunting etc. I wish I had sapphire. Mine is full of scratches. Only thing keeping me from buying this is the question about battery life. I love the two week battery life of my 6X pro
I get about 12-13 days from my epix if I put it in gesture mode, with ~30-90mins of GPS roughly 2/3 days.
Lately I've had it in always-on, and there it's more like 6.
EDIT: Actually, I just realized I'm not using the watch for bike rides any more, so maybe more like 1/3 days on that GPS stat above.
I don't pay super close attention, though. Whatever it is is way better than my Apple Watches were. Though nowhere near my Forerunner; and probably not close to a Fenix, especially X.
I agree this is not a fantastic price on a 2 generation old basic model.
1 generation old. And the Pro model isn't really a generational revolution, it's an incremental improvement. New HR sensor (that hasn't proven to be all that much better from what I've seen, unlike the jump from Fenix 6 -> Fenix 7/epix) and a flashlight, memory bump for the base model, but basically the same other than that. Most (all? Except the new watch faces?) of the new SW features trickled down. Base-to-base I guess the Pro non-Sapphire model has multi-band now and the non-Pro non-Sapphire doesn't? But that's a huge price difference.
I agree it's a base model, but it's still almost $200 savings off of the best price I've seen for the Sapphire/Titanium model ($630). And almost half of the price of the current model ($900 for epix Pro, where you're still getting stainless bezels, no Sapphire, etc.).

appreciate the reply. that was my fear on battery life. I hate the idea of having to gesture to see the time. I want it always on. I'm going to look for the fenix 7 for that reason. again, appreciate it!
I will never wear a non sapphire garmin anywhere in the nature - no matter how cheap they are.
I guess it depends what you do with it. If you're rock climbing, sapphire might save your screen, but hiking? Trail running? personally I think sapphire isn't completely necessary in those cases, but nice to have. I have this watch and had a Fenix 6 before it, both with screen protectors I had bought from Amazon, and the only time I cracked one of those was with my car's seatbelt. For this price I'd jump on this deal, sapphire or not.
I have this. Lucked out and got it brand spanking new for 440.
Slapped on a screen protector And has survived banging into walls and pallets. Great device ! Glad I didn't spend more. Plus shapphire is more reflective.

wow that website design look so bad, I'm starting to think commenters here have been correct that this could be a scam or malicious website
Personally, I like the idea of not everything being Amazon. Various commenters here have said they purchased here over the years. If i were uncertain I'd check Reddit.

Been wearing a 955 since it launched that is just the gorilla glass, fishing, backpacking, scrambling in the mountains, and obviously running. Maybe I'm lucky but I've never gotten a scratch on the thing, no screen protector either.

I second this, sapphire is mostly marketing, less about build quality. Newer Garmins all have been fine. Sapphire can actually shatter far easier than gorilla glass due to its hardness. Depending on the sport, I'm less worried about a scratch and more worried about it shattering from a fall.
Ppl keep raving about flashlight feature, what's so good about it and what r ppl using it for? I have Fenix 6 Pro X no Sapphire & I dont take my watch off ever and it's as new as when I first got it. PPl who bang around their watch are the ones who need sapphire those who are not hard on them don;t need that feature.
The flashlight is awesome. It takes up the top part of the watch and is bright. I would say its about the same as a phones flashlight but is adjustable and has a red light option. 2 taps of a button and that thing turns on and I have a light anytime. Some common uses for me include walking pet at night, handy work (under drawers, sump pump, etc), not waking up wife while getting out of bed, camping, etc. So many uses once you realize you have a quickly accessible light anytime.

I don't have a (dedicated) flashlight, and I agree. I use the "flashlight" feature on my epix (non-Pro), which just lights up the screen bright white, just about every day. Did the same when I had Apple Watch Ultra. I lust after the new "Pro" models for the flashlight more than the other features, honestly. 😅

The new epix Pro model introduced the 42mm and 51mm case sizes to the epix line.
